Private Label Manufacturing

Why Should You Consider Having Your Own Brand Of Allergy and Gluten Free Products?

Gluten free foods are not just a fad with the US market forecasted to grow 8% to 628.7 million by 2017.  Lactose free foods are expected to grow 2.9% to 1, 995.8 million by 2017.  (Source:  Euromonitor 2013).  The Canadian market parallels the same growth.

Add in 5% of Canadians with life-threatening food allergies plus the schools, households and businesses affected by that population, and the market becomes just too large for any savvy food business to ignore.

Let us help you be on the forefront of this growing market to develop your premium free-from private label category with simply the cleanest, best-tasting allergy and gluten free snack bars and cereal cups on the market.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who do you accept as private label clients?
Current customers include Canadian, American, and International clients in distribution channels from retail to health care who service either corporate customers or consumers.  What these companies share in common is an understanding of the growing need for clean, allergy friendly and gluten free food and have the vision to invest in premium products.

What products can you private label for me?
We currently have space available on our bar line and our cup line.  In addition to the products you see on our website, we manufacture several products that you do not see in our own brands.  Some of the private label products we've developed are:

  • Cups (microwave, hot or cold cups):
    • Oatmeal/Gluten free cereal grains cups
    • Muffin cups
    • Granola cups
  • Bars (individually wrapped bulk, 12 bar POP boxes or 4-6 bar packs):
    • Granola
    • Oatmeal
    • Crispy rice
    • Added protein
    • Added fibre
    • Balanced:  Equal fat, fibre and protein
    • Fruit and seed
    • Date

We do not have the equipment for enrobed bars nor oatmeal packets.  Please note that we have no excess capacity on our granola pouch line at this time so cannot accept granola projects unless they only require bulk casing.

Can you co-pack the recipes I’ve developed?
We do not consider ourselves a co-packer as we use proprietary recipes which we then use to create custom flavour and/or nutrition profiles.  While we will look at co-packing requests on a case by case basis, any co-packing recipes must meet both our strict dedicated facility quality assurance procedures and our business goals.  Please note that co-packing projects may have additional costs associated with them.  Further, we do not have ovens in our facility so any products that require baking cannot be accommodated.  Before contacting us, please review our allergen declarations:

What are your volume requirements?
We appreciate that everybody needs a place to start with their own product line so we offer one of the lowest private label minimums in the business. The current minimum order increment per flavour/variety varies depending on sizing and complexity.  The ranges for each line are as follows:

  • cups:  5 400 - 6 000 units
  • bars:  10 000 - 24 000 units

What is my pricing and what does it include?
Pricing will not be provided until many factors are determined including the type of product, sizing, flavour and nutritional profile you choose, including whether you choose custom flavours and ingredients.  Once all choices are finalized, pricing in volume increments will be provided.

You will purchase your own branded packaging including but not limited to:  custom printed bar packaging, custom printed cups, custom printed product boxes and/or corrugated cases. We will walk you through every step of the way as needed with our supplier contacts including arranging the shipments of your packaging to our facility.

Once your product is manufactured for you, you will pay for shipping and any customs fees applicable to a location of your choosing.  We do not store nor drop ship your products for you.  If you require help with the logistics of shipping and any customs brokerage, we can manage this all for you as you need.
